Course Length: 1 day (8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)  Instructor Led Training

Course Objective: You will create a basic Microsoft Word document and explore the 2010 ribbon environment. This will involve learning to navigate within a document, various techniques to select different parts of a document, learning the different types/styles of text available, setting tabs and paragraph options. You will view your document in different layouts and use basic viewing tools. You will learn to control a documents page setup and its overall appearance.

Prerequisites: This course assumes the user understands the basics of using a Windows-based computer. Students must be comfortable using the keyboard, mouse, and Start menu. Knowledge of and experience with printing a using a Web Browser is an asset, but not required.
